Dr. Prashant Vaijyanath, Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon, is a Gold Medalist from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGI, Chandigarh) for his MS (Surgery) in 1993 and M.Ch. CTVS with honors from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Dr. Prashant has a total of 21 years rich experience in cardiac surgery (1993-2014) and has successfully performed more than 9000 open heart surgeries.

Dr.Ajit Shinto, Chief of Nuclear Medicine services at KMCH and treasurer of the KMCH research foundation, completed his MBBS from St Johns National Academy of Health Sciences,Bangalore and Post graduation in Nuclear Medicine at Tata Memorial Hospital and BARC, Mumbai. He underwent the National Board certification after further training at Narayana Hrudayalaya,Bangalore and went on to set up the Dept of Nuclear Medicine at Amala Institute of Medical Sciences,Kerala and at KMCH,Coimbatore.
