Dr. V. Rajamani, Consultant Rheumatologist, qualified from Madurai. He did his entire post graduate medical training in the UK and obtained M.R.C.P. He got trained and experienced in this specialty working in various hospitals in UK (mainly Stafford and Southampton, UK). His main areas of interest are Rheumatoid Arthritis, Vasculitis and Osteoporosis. Specialized care is given to these patients at KMCH, Coimbatore. He is a member of the British Society for Rheumatology, London.

He is extremely interested to explore the prevalence and causes of Rheumatoid and Connective Tissue Diseases among the native Badugas population in the Nilgiris District. He has a special interest in Osteoporosis prevention.
